Case Number Two:
THE "JERSEY DEVIL" Photo Analysis

The disturbing photo below was taken by Rose Scadari of the Central Jersey Spirit Squadron. According to her, this photo was taken at a crossroads one night. They were taken in farming community which had a background in the War of 1776. We are in the process of requesting much better scans of this image for our investiagtion - as well as a personal interview with Rose herself.

Altering the contrast and gamma, I was able to refine the focus to this:

Closer examinations revealed these curious areas:
Look closely at the front area where the "neck"  joins the body and you will see strange radiating lines that cannot be atrributed to scan lines.

I produced this animation to reveal certain details by changing the light and contrast levels in succession. If you watch this animation loop several times, you can make out more details and general shape of the thing.

My first impressions of this picture is that it is an authentic photograph of somthing real. Exactly what it is, I cannot guess just yet but I would suggest that it seems far too weird to be a hoax in my opinion.
